We've been developing Mira with racing drivers on track and in the simulator, one of the most demanding attention environments that exists. Underneath it is dedicated research into gaze behaviour in racing drivers: how experts scan differently, how attention sequences change between circuits, and how the simulator compares to the real world.
It's the foundation the whole company is built on: dedicated research into how experts read attention under pressure. Turning visual patterns into objective metrics that performers can trust is hard, and it's the problem we're focused on getting right.
In the cockpit, attention divides between the instrument scan and the world outside. It's the same problem we work on in motorsport, in a domain where scan discipline is taught, checked, and tied directly to safety.
We've taken Mira flying: the same eye tracking and gaze analysis, recorded in a real cockpit in flight. Where a pilot looks, in what order, and for how long becomes something an instructor can see and a student can train.
Motorsport is the hardest version of this problem, so the foundations we're building there carry into everywhere we go next.
